When I started making YouTube videos, I was using a $10 microphone that I found in a box around the house. After a few months, I upgraded to the $25 "Onn" microphone (Walmart brand), and it did *okay*. But this mic, which I bought for myself for my birthday in 2022, is AMAZING. Not only does it look cool, the sound quality is super good.

My Onn webcam, sitting on a cheap tripod on my glass desktop surface.
(The webcam includes a built-in microphone as well as an adjustable ringlight, but both are low quality and I rarely use them.)

This photo shows my HyperX Quadcast mic attached to an Impact articulating arm (leftover from my photography days) in front of my computer (which is showing a chess game I'm commentating on).

R made this photo of me, sitting in my "office", which is really just the northwest corner of our master bedroom.
Featured here is my new Respawn RSP-200 chair (you can see that the seat back is tall enough to actually rest my head against, unlike many chairs I tested. Also, this photo shows my new HyperX Quadcast microphone (the red glow), which is amazing. The lighting setup at left is laughable, I know, but it worked until I obtained better video lighting. (It's just an LED garage work light hung from a light stand and going through a collapsible diffuser.)

The left column holds 8TB* (about 7.2 terabytes), more than twice the right column combined.
(The right column is 2TB, 1TB, 80gig, and 160gig, so even at their advertised storage space, it's less than half of the new drive.)
