I took this one a few months back in June at Wollaton Park, I think it had only just emerged due to the green tinging on the clypeus and labrum, also I could see things still moving under the cuticle (Not sure what it was). The strands by its legs I think might be the remains of the exuviae tracheoles. Anyway, thought this one had a cheeky face, but no idea why I left it for so long LOL :o)
This was an 11 image focus stack of what I think is a teneral Blue-tailed Damselfly. I've got a week off work coming up next week, so I'm hoping to get some serious macro work done, as long as the weather behaves :o)
