I molded the lead jig at the top and carved the wooden lure at the bottom from a piece of dowel.

From my archives, as soon as this hawk - a black-shouldered kite - landed in a tree top, these two crows immediately started dive bombing him. Crows and hawks have forever been at war, and I don't expect they'll ever lay down their arms and live peacefully forever after. Kinda like some humans I guess...
