TITAN IIIA
The Titan IIIA consisted of a two stage Titan II ICBM strengthened to accommodate a third upper stage and heavier payloads. The new upper stage, called a Transtage, used the same type of storable propellants like the Titan II ICBM. The Titan IIIA was primarily a test vehicle for the Titan IIIC launch vehicle, and became the central core for the Titan IIIC.
