It was a really windy day and I wanted to catch the the way the trees move, but how do you catch the wind? I reduced my shutter speed right down and so realised after I had caught the wave of the air moving, it looks like a bit of an oil painting but I like it.

This was the best of a disappointing day, I was awaiting a thunderstorm that never materialised, however, the rain that did fall gave for a moment I was thankful I caught.

So far in photography I have learnt a lot, one thing for sure beyond the triangle of light, focus and settings and blah, blah, blah, is realising that losing one moment can make up for another equally wonderful image.
