In the countryside of Brandenburg, Germany. My girlfriend was driving and pointed out the view, we were driving down a country lane with trees either side, so wound down the window and was taking shots in between the trees as we went, this was the best one that came out.

This was during the drive there last week, when the Sun lingered below the sky line as we dove by, at some speed I must admit. It looked like a planet of it's own. I really liked how the clouds applied for additional texture on the Sun's "surface" so to speak. The sunset that evening was intense and I took a lot of shots so more to follow.

My girlfriend has two speeds in life, parked and go bloody fast, so thus when I saw the natural sunset meeting this mechanical structure going hand in hand, I had a split second to take it whilst hanging out of the passenger side window with the Tamron 70-300mm lens.
I really liked the idea of two energies meeting in the middle. One of human engineering and the other of nature, of course, nothing beats the power of nature, but the intensity is what I loved in this.

Back to the night of the last Lunar Eclipse, Berlin experienced what must be one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. A lot I shot but didn't get put up and so instead of the recent stuff I went back and found this one.
I was lucky to get on a road that had a lot of open land and so with the Tamron, was able to get this shot just over the trees with a some steeple thing which I initially didn't see but, hey, I think it adds a touch of character to the end image.

Caught this a few days ago, the Sun was just before setting on the other side and so the light was face on in this direction, hence the slight reflective glare on the Alex.
I saw all the building works alongside what was buildings both old & new and it really made me reflect on how life, really does just keep going and going and going. All these lives, situations, circumstances, times, histories that have happened and yet to be written. I know, I am getting all sentimental, however, one thing I think photography does do oneself, is to make one see the world much more fully than before.
