This is one of the big Behala buildings in Berlin, a company founded in 1923, survived through the 2nd World War and provides a lot in the way of photography locations. Behala is a huge logistics company and from various angles you can get some interesting shots of their assets, some quite noticeably historic.

Quite a thing that within these buildings is the best in modern technology yet the outside hardly ever changes.

Have a great weekend everyone and as always, thank you! :)

On a walkabout I came across this tree, one of the branches had been broken off and in the resulting pit of what was left was this perfectly formed mushroom. It was just really bizarre in the way it was growing and clearly being higher up in a tree was away from ground foragers. Clever mushroom!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend, weather in Germany is very wintery so take care out there and so as always, thank you! :)

So desperately wanted to get a good Autumn shot at the back end of last year; I walked for miles until I came across this set of abandoned rail tracks. I was caught by the contrast of wooden struts and then the metal tracks but also, which fortuitously was between a tree line and a steel girder construct on the other. This really helped by a stroke of luck to accentuate the ideal of the image. Sometimes you're lucky enough to strike gold.

Hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)

Along the canal (by Kaiserin Augusta Allee) last Summer I came across a pair of Swans, which I suspected were a mated pair and I was able to get very close to them, it was when I got close enough to start snapping away I noticed one had been blinded in one eye, whether this a result of a fight or an accident of course will never be known. But it certainly brought home the ferociousness of creatures that live in the wild. I think it's incredible how they just find a way to continue on regardless.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and so as always, thank you!

When I was first trying out my new lens the Nikkor VR1, I came across this bridge and now for some reason, I just couldn't seem to get the damn angle on it, however, that said when I came home and look at the picture I was immediately taken by how skeletal the frame work looked. Sort of Bio-mechanical creature.

Hoping everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
