A raft of blue penguins coming to shore on Dunedin peninsula. about a foot in length, small and blue, these nocturnal birds arrive every night to take care of the next generation. Using lights provided by the Albatross observatory, not flash.

this couple climbed about 300 feet off the beach but in doing so arrived at the trail folks used to get to the beach. the next day they changed location to a less obvious spot. endangered
