Although born naked, the young birds develop quickly; within a week of hatching the chicks are fully feathered and ready to leave the nest.

Nest was empty.. but the family is still hanging out. I only got this one chance at the bird. the rest of the family were restlessly moving in heavy foliage and vocalizing but I could not photograph. After I donated a bout a pint of blood to the mosquitos I left, defeated.
