Black when we lived in St Louis, the GHO of Forrest Park were beginning to earn some fame. I was looking to buy my first super telephoto (the Minolta 600mm) and generated these noisy images. Now, with Topaz and experience, they look a bit more presentable. These are Charles and Sara, in a nest cavity that surprisingly still stand in forest park. My album has lost of pics from the lovely owlet they produced atet season. Taken with my old Sony A77II and the terrific 70-300mmG lens

With all the travel excitement, the owlet series was waiting ...here are the babies a few days before fledging. the first two images are of an owlet expelling a pellet (Note- when a bird imitates a cat coughing a hair ball, keep shooting!) they were photographed by many over the spring and were delightful to watch. Hit "L" than "Z" twice for a high res view
