I named this abandoned house "Sexy Retreat" specifically because of this room. I mean seriously...we all heard about those seedy motel/hotels with mirrors on the ceiling but this place actually had them!

17 months had passed since I first walked through the door at Sexy Retreat. I had the most gut wrenching feeling because I felt I was full on walking in someones house that was in the middle of moving but I knew that was not the case. Certain details I am leaving out to protect it but it is abandoned & has been for nearly two decades! The remote location of Sexy Retreat has been its saving grace however looters have visited whether it be family/friends/or locals.

As I have mentioned before, I enjoy revisiting locations to see how time has treated them. Especially when its a location as incredible as Sexy Retreat!

I recently revisited Sexy Retreat after my brother Freaktography told me I needed to get there to see how it looks some 17 months after my initial visit. There was a bit of decay on my first visits but since then things had changed rather quickly. Also, it had been ransacked & many of the incredible antiques had been stolen. I haven't see any other photo sets from here so it leads me to believe that locals were behind this as the house itself is well hidden from both the road & google maps. Plenty more to come from my revisit!
