I think this capture was from one of the earlier snow days. Didn't seem like there was snow since I cloned most of them out and the fact that flash + flurries = lots of bright white stuff. You can still find these guys feeding off the ground at this time of the year. Enjoy!

The bunting above was not too far from where I stopped, and I had the opportunity to creep up to one of them. I also had to work extra hard without that 1.6 crop factor for the 5D2.

As for the shots below, they are tighter crop. They were quite a distance away from the beginning, and there's a good chance that they would take off even if I stayed low and crawled toward them slowly, so I didn't bother sneaking up to them. Plus it was bloody chilly and windy.
