Steveston Harbour, Richmond, BC, Canada
As mentioned in my
previous posting, I didn't look for or photograph too many birds. The Mute Swan was definitely my lifer bird and I was amazed that I could attract it to come closer by sticking my hand out. Obviously, it's very habituated to humans just like our Canada Geese in our local parks. Here are the remaining bird photos during my time at the Vancouver and area.
On another note, shooting birds with a full frame body (i.e., 5D2) was amazing. The files were so clean compare to the 7D such that I didn't really miss the 1.6x crop factor. Even if I had to crop the shot really tight, I had so much clean pixels that I didn't really notice any noise/artifacts in my resulting tightly cropped photos. I hope to do more bird photography on FF.
