Met up with
Ray at Beaumont to check out the area for birds. In the slough he showed me, there were lots of Grackles, lots of RWBB, lots of YHBB (more than Big Lake), lots of American Coots, a pair of Northern Shovelers, a pair of Horned Grebes, and only one lonely Ruddy Duck that we could not get close to. Thanks Ray for showing me the Beaumont area.
I will post the Great Blue Heron shots from my last weekend on Friday night.
