Gas Town - primarily catering to the tourists, either souvenirs or coffee shops/restaurants. How many coffee's can you drink and how many t-shirts do you need.

Break at our favourite Cafe' in Gas Town. This is @ f3.4 and 1/15s. The Super Elmar is very good at f3.4, little fall off and flare. Fairly compact lens too. It does lack the "drama' of the old Super Angulon 21mm f3.4 - but not everybody likes that - though I have to profess a liking to the SA 21/3.4 - have been using one in one form or another for 50 years (it came out in 1964).

The Steam Clock in Gas Town is in for service and this strange contraction is a temporary replacement. Looks like large, rather dented , chrome tube!

Weather allowed the use of a slower lens. The Super Elmar 21mm f3.4 had been sitting unused for a couple of month. Decided to take it out for a "spin". It is actually a very good lens - as it should be considering the price. It does have a bit more distortion than i expected - for extreme critical architectural work I thing it would be tricky - though with todays scanning or "in camera" correction not as big problem. However using it on a M2 - you learn to live with it!
