I did succumb to some stuff in SF. The Diane Arbus book at the Frankel Gallery on Geary Street. Great showspace and several galleries. As i had decided to limit myself to only ! book - I did not buy the George Tice books in the next gallery. Will save that for the next SF trip!
The M2 was plain cheap - needs a lube job, but curtains and rangefinder is fine - though the illumination window is cracked and need to be replaced. Could not resist it.
The Leicavit MP is just a hollow shell with no innards - might be the base for a special at some time. The LHSA swap meet was a bit sparse - which was good. I was tempted by a Visoflex III with the special inter changeable screen and the special chimney finder - but as I already have two Visoflex housings - I desisted the temptation.
The M2 is an early one, #935xxx (too lazy to get the last 3 numbers), it is the version that forces you to hold down the rewind button while rewinding the film - not my favourite as I have been known to tear film when the finger slips! The vulcanite had come off on the right hand side - but nothing that black gaffers tape can't fix.

Heavy drool factor - Stephen brought along a battered black SP with the 25f4 on it! I had to resist the urge to buy it (and Tuulikki was along). I already have the chrome version of the lens - but a matched pair would look good!
