I did run a roll of Neopan SS @ 100 iso together with the ORWO 54 (and also a roll of Acros). These are my "reference " films for 100 iso.
This will be kit for more Orwo 54, a Nikon S3 Olympic with a 2005 Nikkor 35f1.8. By using the same camera and lens I can eliminate a couple of variables. As with most of my shooting it will be done s "Sunny f16" - and by only loading the Orwo in Nikon re-loadable cassettes it also eliminates that feeling of staring at an IXMOO cassette and go"Is that Orwo or XX in this one?"

Another Orwo 54 test kit shot. Interesting film - quite a "springy" base - but it does dry flat. I am looking at it as a substitute for the now defunct Kodak EK 5231 (+X movie emulsion). So far the ORWO looks good, but I need to run some more tests with other developers like Beutler, D96 etc.
The Neopan SS is also gone. I did manage to find 20 rolls at Yodabashi Camera in Tokyo in November. Kind of a nice film, "vintage" look and pretty well "bullet proof" as to exposure and development.
