The infamous "fencing" around the cauldron. It became the "icon" for the Olympics - fences everywhere, 15 000 "security" staff telling you where to go and what to do.
The attempts to clean up the fence with acrylic "see through" panels only made it look worse.
They had 6-7 years to sort this out -knowing full well that the "Flame" would become a focal point for people.

The Summarit 35f2.5 has very little vignetting - even at f16.

This is my "test root" on Jericho beach. Great for finding out how well a lens is doing in various lights! The Nikkor 35f2.5 is as good as the early version I and II Summicron's. Very little flare and sharp - even @ f2.5.
