The spectacle offered by the Alps is wonderful, it seems close at hand but the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Dom de Mischabel are between 150 and 170 km (105 miles) away from that Sanctuary that can be seen in the center of the photo. Thanks to the wind that blew strong in the previous days.
Così vicine, così lontane
Lo spettacolo offerto dalle Alpi viste dall'appennino, è meraviglioso. Sembrano lì a portata di mano ma il Cervino, il Monte Rosa ed il Dom de Mischabel, sono lontani tra i 150 ed i 170 km, da quel Santuario che si vede nel centro della foto, posto a 651 metri di altitudine in Valtidone. Merito del vento che ha soffiato forte nei giorni precedenti.

Il proprietario di questa bella baita, Felice, ha invitato me ed altre due escursioniste, a prendere un caffé in casa sua.
Un gesto gentile e quasi sorprendente visto il momento difficile che stiamo vivendo tutti.
Evidentemente vivere in una natura così, non può che rendere felici e gentili.
Felice the kind man
The owner of this hut, named Felice, invited me and two other hikers to have a coffee with him.
Never happened before and almost surprising given the difficult time we are all experiencing now; but evidently living in a nature like this, can only make you happy and kind.

"La magia del tramonto è solita regalare ai pescatori, in particolare a quelli con la mosca, belle emozioni.
All'imbrunire, il torrente si anima di nuova vita e i pescatori sono disposti ad attendere quel momento senza disturbare il luogo, anche per fare due o tre lanci ma di quelli giusti...
Pesci d'ogni specie e taglia rincorrono gli insetti che in un anelito comune inseguono sulla superficie dell'acqua.
Tra acqua e cielo tutto si compie e spesso, ad un cerchio in superficie corrisponde una cattura fortunata.
E' bellissimo far buio sul torrente, degna conclusione di una giornata da ricordare."

Circles in water
