At the corner of Grant Street and Strawberry Way sits the First English Evangelical Lutheran Church, built in 1888 for the first English-language Lutheran congregation founded east of the Alleghenies, which can trace its history back to 1837. The surrounded area has changed dramatically since that time with the H.K. Porter Building (now the FHLBank Building) beside and the Alcoa Building (now the Regional Enterprise Tower) behind it. All are dwarfed by the US Steel Tower, the tallest in Pittsburgh, from which this picture was taken.
