With an intention to get the best shot at the Horseshoe Bend, started the Time Lapse around 8 AM in the morning. Continued to shoot almost till Noon but finally gave up knowing it will take forever for those shadows to disappear.

Best time to visit this place is during noon. Sometimes you can get lucky with cloud cover though.

Almost after 18 months, i tried the time-lapse again from my apartment balcony, thanks to one of my friend, Lokesh who bought bunch of filters and timer remote (after having troubles with old remote) for me. Amazing sky and clouds made me to get out of my lazy mood and get started. Used newly bought GND filter and in fact it is the actual reason to go with time lapse. The GND result was good however there is problem with the edge drifting in to the frame (Cokin P-Series holder on a Canon 17-55 mm f/2.8) It is not bad and i am happy with the decision to go with P-Series holder. May be i will buy better filters and holder once i get a hang of it.

I was supposed to post this 3 months ago. It was the day I left United States for good. Even though I was interested in Photography since childhood, I couldn't pursue it either because of financial issues or lack of enthusiasm or a good company.

It all changed in the year 2005, when i bought my first DSLR. Was in Auto pilot mode (Auto mode) for almost 3 years. When things got bit boring, I have started learning what real photography is. It is not capturing whatever comes in our path (some of you may disagree). It is about capturing moments, time and the life itself. I have learned many things during my journey by looking at other's photographs and practicing till i get what i want.

I will always be thankful to this country for it's great places, people and providing me opportunities. As life won't stop, photography is not going to stop here. Looking forward to travel and take my photography to next level in my own country, India.

BTW, this is a time lapse video shot when i was vacating my apartment. Loads of statements, papers piled up from 6 years to be shredded in 1 day ? It reminded me the benefits of Paperless Billing :-)
