Christmas tree.

This is based on a stack of ICM shots. See the first in the series (Crucible of Life) for more details.

This variant is again made in Topaz Studio but using a very different route.

First off I used Impression (Topaz’s auto painting filter) to create a style based on Georgia O’Keefe’s work. You get a sense of fluid brushstrokes from this one.

Then to give the result some relief from the black background I added four coloured textures.

I hue-shifted the result a littlle using and HSL adjustment layer to get a pleasing combination of colour. Clarity adjustment for sharpening.
