This is my one and only panorama of the aurora, taken in Signaldalen, Norway. The scene was just too wide for the lens I had, so I took a series on panorama shots with a 24 mm lens vertical. I really didn't have any hope this would work, so I never even bothered to process it until yesterday. Who knew a panorama of the aurora would even work with the lights moving around? Not me! Anyway I processed it just to see and was pleasantly surprised. 9 images. 24 mm lens, f 1.4, 10 seconds (too long!), and ISO 10,000. Canon 1Dx, Rokinon 24 mm 1.4 lens. And we get a peak of the Milky Way, yeah!
