Bristol es una ciudad muy singular, donde hay de todo.
Desde el desenfadado arte callejero (Banksy ), a las iglesias medievales; desde los locales de música en vivo al esplendor georgiano de su elegante barrio de Clifton; de sus cientos de espacios verdes a las márgenes del río Avon, que tanto ha marcado esta metrópolis portuaria...
Una ciudad de medio millón de habitantes que apuesta por el transporte sostenible, la eficiencia energética y la naturaleza.
Además Bristol es Capital Verde Europea 2015, título otorgado por la Comisión Europea.
Para conmemorar dicho título, organizaron muchas actividades a lo largo del año, desde conseguir ser la primera ciudad del mundo que tenga un árbol por cada niño, hasta un festival sobre cómo hacer las ciudades más habitables, o la construcción de una ballena a tamaño real con material reciclado en la fantástica plaza del Milenio.
Esta plaza es uno de los espacios centrales, punto de encuentro y actividades. Repleta de vida, juventud y alegría. Adornada con varias obras de arte, como la estatua dedicada al actor Cary Grant, que nació en Bristol, y la esfera del Planetario, además de una enorme pantalla donde con frecuencia se muestran eventos deportivos y espectáculos en directo.

Furthermore Bristol is European Green Capital 2015 title awarded by the European Commission.
To commemorate this title, they have organized many activities throughout the year since to become the first city in the world that has a tree for every child, to a festival on making cities more livable, or the construction of a whale to royal size with material recycled in the fantastic square of the Millenium.
This square is one of the central areas, meeting place and activities; full of life, youth and joy. Adorned with several works of art, like the statue dedicated to the actor Cary Grant, who was born in Bristol, and the sphere of the Planetarium, plus a huge screen where sporting events and often live entertainment shows.
