Desde el mar divisamos Porto Venere, cuando fuimos en barco desde La Spezia a "Cinque Terre", nos gustó mucho lo que vimos y decidimos visitarla.
La ciudad es preciosa, de aspecto medieval, y casualmente coincidimos con un mercado medieval. Medio pueblo estaba disfrazado a la perfección de época, actuaciones, puestos artesanales, etc... ¡Me encantó!
Porto Venere está situada en la Riviera di Levante, es llamada también la "Sexta Terre". Tiene una ciudadela del siglo XII, la iglesia de San Pietro que se ve desde el mar, y que tiene partes del siglo VI y la iglesia de San Lorenzo del siglo XII.
Caminar por sus calles empinadas y por el paseo marítimo, es un auténtico placer, observando las casas de colores y la multitud de bares y restaurantes divinos.
Aquí hay muy pocos turistas, a diferencia de las multitudes que se encuentran en "Cinque Terre". Las vistas son hermosísimas. Parece ser que Lord Byron pasó mucho tiempo aquí.

From the sea we saw Porto Venere, when we went by boat from La Spezia to "Cinque Terre", we liked what we saw and decided to visit.
The city is beautiful, medieval-looking, and casually agree with a medieval market. Mostly people were dressed to perfection at the time, performances, craft stalls, so on... I loved it!
