The 2nd most admired Teton Peak reflected in the famous bend of the Snake River enjoyed on an ideal autumn morning.
"Mount Moran (12,610 feet (3,840 m)) is a mountain in Grand Teton National Park of western Wyoming, USA. The mountain is named for Thomas Moran, an American western frontier landscape artist. Mount Moran dominates the northern section of the Teton Range rising 6,000 feet (1,800 m) above Jackson Lake." Wiki
"The Tetons are one of the youngest mountain ranges in North America. They have been uplifting for less than 10 million years, making them "adolescent" mountains, as compared to the "middle-aged" Rockies (60-80 million years old) or the "elderly" Appalachians (more than 300 million years old). Erosion has had much less time to work in the Tetons, comparatively, so their jagged peaks remain standing high." nps.gov

Some of the major peaks of the Teton range on a fine autumn day. This was my best day here as during earlier visits the range was shrouded in clouds, peaks completely covered. Lots of wows and smiles this day.
Thanks for taking a peak peek!
Enjoy a wonderful Friday and weekend!
