First light on Oregon's Smith Rock, reflected in Crooked River. I had a grand time hiking the many trails around this primordial geological formation.

Looking across icy Spillway Lake at some of the many mountains of the Kananaskis. I liked those snags stuck in the ice. Seen along the Smith Dorien Trail thru Peter Lougheed Park.

A view of Peyto Lake from further up the Bow Summit ridge. Mighty windy and cold, but oh so worth it. I spent several hours up here waiting for the sunset (pic below) with good friend Sergio. Miserable as it was this was one of my all-time favorite times capturing Nature's wonders.
