Sun's first kiss thru the mist on Mt. Rainier. Another favorite image hunting morning (one can't have too many right?).

A view when I walked out of the trees in the comments.

Hope you're enjoying a wonderful weekend!

Been awhile since I posted a black and white image so here is one of Mt. Rainier at sunrise with Emmons Glacier catching the day's first light.

"The highest mountain in the northwestern Cascade Range, Mount Rainier has 25 named glaciers that adorn the mountain, the most of any mountain in the continental United States. Emmons Glacier covers the largest area of any glacier in the contiguous 48 states, stretching over 4 miles. Hikers can follow the glacier to the peak, as it spans from the White River Valley to the summit of the mountain. Mount Rainier’s glaciers provide an essential water source for six ice-cold rivers, including the Nisqually, Mowich and Carbon." doi.gov

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I try to vary my posts so they aren't they same old thing (would be easy to do). Time for a waterfall.

This is the bottom of Rainier Park's Narada Falls. I found the falling waters interplay and flow thru these golden boulders as beautiful as the rest of the falls (shown in comments).

Thank you for taking a look!

A wonderful morning watching day break on Mt. Rainier mirrored in one of the Reflection lakes.
Always brings me pleasure to step right back in to the frame remembering the joy I was feeling watching this grand show on this fine morning. Particularly during these long winter months.

Enjoy a Super Sunday and wonderful week ahead!

When I arrived at Rainier's Reflection Lakes I couldn't see anything with all the mists. Just as dawn arrived it fortunately started to clear out well enough for some shots.

A couple more shots taken after more mists had cleared out in comments.

Thanks for taking a look!
