A serene moment at British Columbia's Muncho Lake.
One of my favorite stops along the AlCan highway.
Have a wonderful weekend!

These horses have an impressive backdrop. I'm envious.
Another view of one of the geological wonders at Smith Rock. A different angle of same formation below with Crooked River flowing around it:
I filled up several memory cards here. So easy to do. Hope you don't get weary of seeing this special place. I'll spread the images out so it's not too repetitive.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

This young moose calf looks like it's had a swipe from either a cougar or bobcat. The right side of his head has 4 scratches along nose, plus some above. ?
He and his twin seemed fine, with no other signs of attack. Glad of that. With all the deer here big cats do occasionally pay a visit.
But of course they never pose for a shot.
Twins shown below:
Hope your new year is off to a great start!

Fruit orchards (primarily apple, cherry and pear) viewed from Peshastin Pinnacles State Park near Cashmere WA. Cashmere is where the delectable Aplets and Cotlets are made.
I found it interesting that America is the #2 cherry producer in the world.
#1 cherry producer is Turkey. Guess they gobble more......
Busy times there this time of year.
Happy Friday!
