Looking east from Dunraven Pass.

The Yellowstone river slices it's way through the middle.

Thanks for your visit!

This bull looked a bit intimidated by the approaching bull (shown below). They did dance about, but never did tangle.
We enjoyed watching them.

Thought I'd try processing this image with a historic look, as if it was taken long ago.

Thanks for taking a look and for any comments or suggestions.

May Spring be popping in your neighborhood.

The trail meanders ahead as I return to camp after walking along the banks of Swiftcurrent Lake in the Many Glacier area. A portion of Mt. Allen and Grinnell Point are lit up from the setting sun.

As always, thanks for your visit and any comments or suggestions.

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

One of our does that lives here year around looking for something to eat. I leaned out my den window for a shot and she gave me this long-necked look. They do destroy our shrubs and young trees, but we gave up caring long ago, as they must have something to eat and help them get thru the winter. There are a couple other does that also hang out near by, but this pretty lady has made our home it's base.

This doe has given birth to twins for the past 5 years. She raises them near us, so we get the joy and wonder of watching the fawns grow and thrive. She manages to keep them safe, as several are killed by careless drivers coming off the hill. She had an admirer and suitor come calling this fall. It was fun to watch him woo her as she played hard to get, until the time was right. I will post some images of the father of next years fawns soon. He posed nicely under my den window. I always get many laughs at how twitterpated the bucks get during the rut. Poor fella, this little beauty kept him dancing for several days, but he was persistent. Looking forward to enjoying their fawns next year.

Thanks for taking a look, and for your wonderful remarks and support.
Have a great Sunday!
