Looking S from Knox Mountain as a new day arrives at Kelowna BC. A very clean, busy and impressive city.

"The name Kelowna derives from an Okanagan language term for "grizzly bear"

The Kelowna metropolitan area has a population of 194,882; the third-largest metropolitan area in the province, behind only Vancouver and Victoria. It ranks as the 22nd-largest in Canada and is the largest inland city in British Columbia." Wiki

A view at sunset of Victoria's Inner Harbor and this famous Hotel.

Opened on 20 January 1908, the Châteauesque-styled building is considered one of Canada's grand railway hotels.

“Takakkaw” is derived from a Cree word meaning “it is wonderful” and/or “magnificent”. That it is. And rather loud.

The falls have a total height of 373 metres (1,224 ft), making it the 2nd tallest waterfall in Canada. The waterfall was formerly thought to be the tallest in Canada, but a new survey in 1985 found that it is actually shorter than Della Falls on Vancouver Island.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday!

I paused on my long drive to Alaska at BC's Seeley Lake for a bit. Was so peaceful and calm. Wasn't a problem finding many many beautiful places like this along the way that I enjoyed for a short time and won't forget.

May your weekend be wonderful!
