This is the view looking east from the Banff Gondola parking lot. Not bad, but even better from up top.

Titles can be such a challenge…..

This is the storm front that was quickly approaching as Karen and I hiked Whistler's High Note trail. Was a race (uphill) to get to shelter. It wasn't the rain or wind that was a concern, but the crashing lightning striking around us. They shut the gondola down for 2 hours during the storm. It was sunny when we started our hike. Wild walk on Whistler. Fun times.

The Black Tusk stands out pointedly in the distance.

Snowing here. It begins….

Thanks for your visit!

Was in a "green" mood today.

This is a verdant slice of Idaho's Devoto Cedar Grove, near Lolo Pass. Wonderful preserved area along the Lochsa river, with impressive giant cedars and ferns galore. It was raining so the walk was dark, moody and marvelous.

Thanks for your visit. Always appreciated.

Another bench shot. I like them for daydream shots. Have a seat…..

This bench is perched on a cliff over Smith Rock's Crooked river canyon. The cliffs on the other side are world-renowned by rock climbers. Generally can spot climbers scaling them, but I was early this morning. Interesting to sit here and watch them crawl their way up.

Thanks for taking a look. Much appreciated.
