Tubbs Hill consists of over 120 acres and is bordered by Lake Coeur d’Alene on the west, south and east sides. There are several miles of hiking trails on the hill that provide spectacular scenery.

Coeur d’Alene Lake is the second largest lake in north Idaho. Pend Oreille Lake is larger. The lake is over 26 miles long with some 135 miles of shoreline. The lake is fed primarily by two rivers, the Coeur d’Alene River and St. Joe River, and its outlet forms the Spokane River.

Diablo Lake's Thunder Arm in Washington's North Cascades National Park on a dark dreary day. Was a misty atmospheric morning. Love a moody day.

Named after Thunder Creek that empties here in Diablo Lake. Thunder Creek is one of the primary sources of the "glacial rock flour" that gives the lake it's beautiful teal colors. Thunder creeks source is several large glaciers high above. No sun tho this day to catch that sweet blue-green sheen.

Peshastin Pinnacles State Park features sandstone slabs and spires in a desert environment with views of the surrounding orchards, Enchantment Range, and Wenatchee Valley. Park activities include rock climbing, hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing.

Largely used as a climbing park, Peshastin Pinnacles also makes an ideal stop on Highway 2 to stretch your legs, or as a destination during a visit to Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Cashmere or Chelan.
