A curious hen turkey checks out this new fawn as mother gives it a tender bath. A delightful moment. The turkey didn't stay long after mother noticed it.

Thank you for taking a look. Always appreciated!

Ah ha! I figured it was raccoons that were fouling up my bird and critter trough. Caught them in the act this morning. They would come by to wash up and frolic every 3 or 4 days. I was a bit miffed cleaning it out until I enjoyed watching their wrestling, splashing and delightful behavior. Poor mama had her hands full.

Hope your Tuesday is full of smiles and laughter as well.

Some of the neighborhood whitetail fawns gather at our salt lick. One of the prime benefits of living where we do.
Never know what we might see out our windows.

As always, your views, faves and suggestions are appreciated.

Have a terrific Tuesday.

A whitetail doe cleans her newly born fawn.
A curious turkey has to check out the new arrival as well.

Wishing all Mother's, past and present, a most wonderful day!

This wee fawn was hungry and evidently thought this young buck was his mother. Lesson learned as the buck soon chased him away. The fawn fortunately did find his mother soon after. Was amusing to watch.

Not a great shot as I wasn't ready for the fawn to do this.
However it is something unusual.

Something different for April Fool's Day.

Have a great weekend, hopefully without too many tricks.
