An afternoon compressed shot of this special waterfall not far off Jasper's Icefields Parkway.

Loved it's roar.

Have a wonderful week!

Same lake, different peaks.
There everywhere on the Icefields Parkway.

Hope your first weekend of the New Year is off to a great start.

Looking across Banff's Herbert Lake with, I believe, Mt. Bosworth and Waputik Peak in the distance.

Sure love the beauty fresh snow adds to a landscape.

Happy Friday!

Last shot in the series of the Athabasca river and it's turquoise glacial waters as it flows north from it's iconic waterfall.

"The river travels 1,231 km (765 mi) before draining into the Peace-Athabasca Delta near Lake Athabasca south of Fort Chipewyan. From there, its waters flow north as Rivière des Rochers, then join the Peace River to form the Slave River, which empties into the Great Slave Lake and discharges through the Mackenzie River system into the Arctic Ocean."

The view looking east at the gorge the Athabasca River carves downstream from the falls.

Mt. Kerkeslin looms large above.
It is the highest mountain in the Maligne Range at 2,984 m (9,790 ft). The mountain was named in 1859 by James Hector during the Palliser expedition but the source of the name is not known. Wiki

Thanks for taking a look! Always appreciated.
