The scene as seen when standing at one of the most popular spots in Yellowstone Park, Artist's Point. Easy to see why it's generally standing room only. So cramped it's hard to set up a tripod.

"Artist Point is a small cape on the south rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, with one of the most widely-known and most celebrated views of the Lower Falls. The point is 3/4 of a mile below the falls, and has also been referred to historically as Lookout Point.
Most historians believe Frank J. Haynes named this point in 1883 for his belief that artist Thomas Moran had painted his famous masterpiece from this spot. Despite the common mythology, however, Moran actually made his paintings from the North Rim at a point now known as Moran Point."
