We look forward to each years new arrival of whitetail fawns, and this was our first for 2010. They are so innocent, pure and beautiful. He/She could barely walk, but did manage to get here for a rest. Took a few photos and left.
I'm always surprised that the mothers are so nonchalant and wander off without concern even when she knew I was approaching her fawn. Guess they know over the years that I mean no harm.
Many more does are expecting, some large with twins, so many more happy sightings and fun lies ahead.
