The Bar Taurino in the southeast corner of the Zona Norte of Tijuana, BCN Mexico, (one of two red-light districts I know of in TJ) at the corner of Calle Primiero and Aviñada Constitucion. Taken (while the building was being painted) by a Nikon D40x with a Sigma 17-70mm ƒ 2.8-4 OS HSM macro lens (at 35) Exposure is 1/60 sec @ ƒ 4, ISO 200 - which I consider "low light".: the sun has set
I understand that this bar is a gay bar - so hold onto your wallets! (don't say I didn't warn you...)
I also caught a paradita (Mexican Spanish for "a standing girl": a euphemism for a street prostitute in TJ.) (in the magenta hot pants!) a little south of where they usually stand. (seen between the food cart and the bar's door...) (The paraditas are usually further down the hill to the right) (this may be a transgender/transvestite paradita...)
Safety note: hide your cell phones in TJ: I almost got mine ripped off (literally!) my belt on a January 2015 trip - on the street to the left of photo! (Calle Primero...) (just off frame left, in fact...) Apparently stolen cell phones go for big bucks in TJ - where replacement SIM cards are available. I recovered the phone, as I had grabbed the hand ripping it off...
