We went to the Montgomery Woods State Reserve near Ukiah in Northern California. There are secluded redwood groves, with very tall trees. It is a mysterious place, it's wet, with redwood trees in standing water. I had two cameras with me, I had fun with the full frame Sony A7II with an ultra wide angle lens. This is a burned and dead tree stump.
I processed a paintery, and a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
