Apologies for not being about on here much lately, I've just been away again in Poland so not had any time to edit any images, or look / post on here.
Another one from Iceland and a freezing cold evening down river from the incredibly beautiful Godafoss in the Northern area of the country, we were rewarded some beautiful light this evening, and here seen shining onto the gnarly rockface picking it out nicely from from the white surroundings.
Needless to say this was absolutely freezing and even with thick socks and good boots on, standing still for any length of time your feet just start to freeze up starting with your toes so you really need to jump about a bit which is usually the last thing you want to do when set up on a tripod ....but needs must!! feet first, pics second!!
Every now and again huge chunks of Ice would pass by in the river below being swept away to a new resting place, great to watch, but not for too long if you value your extremities :-)
