I don't really like standing at the kitchen sink with my hands in a warm soup of dirty dishwater, or putting my shoes on at the bottom of the stairs to go to work, but when I spotted the sun coming in over the sink, shining on the flowers on the dining room table as I got to the bottom of the stairs, I had to stop and look at the sight. A beam of light shining on something is so simple yet so beautiful. I just had to garb a quick hand held shot....and then head for work.
And I'm sorry if my photo stream is becoming top heavy with flowers but I'm struggling to find the time and opportunity to maintain my usual variety.
