Neil Williams brought the CASA 2.111 back from Spain when Doug Arnold bought most of Franco's aging airforce. He flew it back to Blackbushe which is where I spotted it, just as Doug Arnold turned up in his Roller. The aircraft was fitted out in snooker table green baize, even the toilet seat. This was in the mid 1970s but I saw it again at Falcon Field AZ where the maintainers knew nothing of its history. Sadly it crashed fairly soon afterwards. The two crew died.

I have been making a series of small Japanese kites based on the ukiyo-e woodblock prints in my collection. This is Danjuro, the yakko actor. Kite skin is Japanese washi and the bones are bamboo.
