This is a 5 shot panorama of the Milky way taken last week while staying on a lake in Ontario Canada. In this shot, there was someone across the lake shooting off fireworks, at least 5 planes flying East West near the horizon, and a small meteor moving across the core that I happened to luck out and catch on my third shot.

When we arrived at the cottage this year, and finally got out of the car, it was the most clear night I think I have ever seen. The Milky way was clearly visible to the naked eye. Despite being exhausted from a whole day of travel, I had to get out the camera and capture it! Opportunities like this don't come along every day.

Taken a few minutes before the previously posted Last Light photo. If you look closely at the base of the small tree, you can see the very large watersnake that I almost put my hand on getting up onto these rocks. Yikes! I didn't even see it until later.

Taken on my annual trip to Ontario, Canada. The water was a little low, exposing this rock at the point of an island. I thought it made a nice foreground for the photo of the setting sun.
