Went for a walk in the rain today up to Minumurra Falls Rainforest, Nice cool day with light mist and constant water dripping all round in the forrest.
Spent far too long with these lichen once I'd spotted them, not that I'm unhappy with the result.

The Netherlands - Oostzaan
This moth, with a wingspan of about 25 mm, appeared to be Little emerald (Jodis lactearia - Melkwitte zomervlinder). This specimen is freshly emerged from the pupa, because of its delicate light green ground colour, that will fade to milky white, later on. It is found throughout the Palearctic realm, from Ireland to Japan. Rather common in my country and mostly found in the coastal dunes and domestic sands. © Tom Kisjes
