The Nikon J1 has a built in interval timer which is set to shoot 999 images every 5 seconds. I am using the 10-30 zoom but will be purchasing the 10mm to lessen the weight. After making this rig i realized it was off balance because of all the electronics on the right, but I was fortunate enough to have a hole in the bottom bracket to allow the camera to be secured to the left giving me a perfectly balance rig. This rig weighs 1lb 8oz or 688gr it is set up with a Continuous rotation servo, pan servo speed control and it attaches to the kite line with a Picavet system. Unfortunately this camera is no longer in use due to a KAP accident, it was dragged thru trees and street pavement before it wrapped around a tree branch. Which I was fortunate to have happen because if it would have missed that branch it would have flew into the bay never to be found by me, The rig survived but the camera didn't .
