Eloy was my boat mans youngest son while I was in El Nido. By Filipino standards his father does very well. During the tourist season he earns ten times more than your average fisherman. However, the problem for Filipinos is that that this means more contributions to the Church and distant relatives. Not to mention the inability for Filipinos to put aside for dryer times.
