Opdracht was ‘Weerspiegeling in water’.

Challenge was ‘Reflection in water’.
Last Sunday in the early morning the weather behaved strange: in Amsterdam it was cloudy, rather cool and there was a fresh breeze. In the area of Waterland, only a few kilometers north of Amsterdam, it was relatively warm, there was some veil clouds with sun and it was windstill. Being windstill is rare, especially in an open and flat landscape.
On the photo the bank of a ditch, grwon with a.o. reed, sorrel and ragged-robin. These kind of banks are these days not common, because of modern, intensive agricultural techniques, but here these techniques are not employed.
The photo shows the vegetation with a nearly perfect reflection in the ditch. I held the camera close to the watersurface, I did not use processing for reflection.
