I'm Bald and I'm Proud
Alaskan bald eagle, Lake Laberge, Yukon Territory, Canada.
Bald Eagles are not actually bald. The name derives from an older meaning of "white headed". About half of the world's 70,000 bald eagles live in Alaska. The Bald Eagle is the national bird of the United States of America and appears on its Seal.
