Wrought Iron Fence....
Sunday we ventured out to downtown Brampton wandering the side streets of the downtown core. on wellington St just north of George are these wonderful wrought iron fences adjacent to Aldrelea the scroll work of the iron is so intricate and well done. the gates are especiually done well.

Climbing Snail....
Yesterday morning as we were leaving for work we noticed there were several snails in our garden, they seemed to have taken over. this little guy was doing a highwire act on the birch tree.

Southern Ontario just went through the worst ice storm in many years. Trees some hundreds of years old were destroyed by the weight of the two inch thick ice that encased their branches. So many branches broke under the weight of the ice that entire parks and forests were decimated.

Soft Focus...
Lilies are so pretty especially with a very shallow depth of field. This lily appeared and within a day was gone. what a lovely show of colour and beauty, even though it lasted only one day. you have to be paying close attention; blink and you will miss it. .

So many beautiful flowers are growing in our backyard garden, they are fighting each other for the available sunlight; this particular one is growing head and shoulders above the rest..
