The last few days snow has overtaken all the beautiful green springing up here in Colorado. We always get that last snow just when you think it's over and I'm never prepared for it. Even after living here for 30 years! Thankfully I hadn't planted any of my spring flowers outside. This morning I woke up to the sun streaming through my bedroom window and the dripping sounds of running water. The snow is melting today despite itself and the lush greenery underneath is peeking through. Such a lovely sight! Despite the harshness of the cold over the past few days, the warmth and tender buds of Spring cannot be held back. Nature always holds symbolic messages for me, I am continually amazed by how encouraged or inspired I am being outdoors and listening, watching and feeling the beauty around me.
My dearest friends, how have you all been? I have been long remiss and have missed you all so much. Today I was caught up on all my portrait editing and found myself looking through my images from last weekend. A client was running late and I took the opportunity to snap some spring beauty. I forgot how much I missed taking pictures of nature and have resolved to make more time for this. I hope you all have been well and are enjoying Spring's return in your corners of the world. Have a fantastic weekend. Much love xoxo
